Stüssy Store Installation and Identity

For the opening of Stüssy's Wooster Street location. The mural image depicts the instant a Jet fighter breaks the sound barrier. The resulting sonic boom vaporizes any moisture in the air around the plane, thus forming the signature vapor cone around the plane. The front view was from an existing military photo. The back view was created. Less visible is the radial halftone pattern applied to both images, referencing sound waves and focusing the viewer’s attention to the center of both images.
