BANANA REPUBLIC FALL 2009 Agency: AR

Print Advertising
The Fall Banana Republic campaign centered upon five clothing staples that made Banana Republic famous - the trench, the suit, the white shirt, chinos and denim. The campaign featured an ensemble cast of upcoming actors and actresses all within a new wave film based concept that extended Banana's exploration into the creative class.

The Fall 5 Video Series
Since the Fall campaign was concepted around the concept of City Stories and was based loosely around the films of the French New Wave, I was charged with creating five films that represented each of the five product stories that Banana Republic was messaging that season. The Fall 5 Video Extensions
These films were leveraged on the Banana Republic website, Facebook, YouTube, and animated web banner ads.

Vanity Fair PROJECT:INVOLVE
In addition, Banana Republic entered into a collaboration with Vanity Fair in launching a microsite during their annual Hollywood issue. The site was in support of PROJECT:INVOLVE, an annual incubator program that nurtures and promotes young film talent and attempts to increase diversity within the film industry. This year’s brief given to young filmmakers was to create a short with the theme of City Stories, the platform that Fall’s advertising campaign was based on.
